Cookie Policy
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, which can make it easier to return and make the site more useful to you.
How we use cookies
Every cookie pamprr sets is strictly necessary: they keep you signed in, protect connection flows against forgery, and remember which location a business account is working in. We do not currently set any analytics or marketing cookies, and no cookie on pamprr tracks you across other websites.
Cookies we set
These cookies are essential for pamprr to work. You cannot opt out of them because the site would not function without them. Your browser may show a sign-in cookie as several entries sharing the same name.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-pamprr-www-auth, __Host-pamprr-pro-auth | Keeps you signed in. Each cookie works only on the site that set it (pamprr.me or pro.pamprr.me), so signing in or out on one does not affect the other. | Up to 400 days |
| pamprr.location_id | Remembers which location a business account is working in. Only set for signed-in business team members. | Until you close your browser |
| wa_oauth_state | Protects the WhatsApp connection process against forged requests. Only set while a business connects WhatsApp. | 10 minutes |
| pamprr_admin | Signs pamprr's own staff in to the admin area. Never set for customers or businesses. | 24 hours |
| pamprr_admin_otp | Holds the one-time code challenge during pamprr staff sign-in. Never set for customers or businesses. | 10 minutes |
What we store in your browser
Two preferences are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. Local storage stays on your device and is never sent with requests.
| Key | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| pamprr_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preferences | Until you clear it or change your choices |
| pamprr_client_postcode | Remembers your postcode so nearby results load without retyping it | Until you clear it |
Third-party cookies
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. Stripe may set its own cookies to prevent fraud and ensure transactions are secure. You can read more in Stripe's privacy policy. No other third party sets cookies through pamprr.
Managing your cookie preferences
On pamprr
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer. This reopens the cookie consent dialogue. The dialogue includes analytics and marketing choices; we do not currently set any cookies in those categories, and your choice is saved in case that changes.
Through your browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these in the “Preferences” or “Privacy” section of your browser. Please note that blocking the cookies listed above will prevent parts of pamprr from working, such as staying signed in.
Updates
We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or applicable laws. We will let you know about any significant changes.
